# Movetrics SDK

> Open SDK (Apache 2.0) for Movetrics F1-3D force plates and the FDT controller: live streaming over USB and Bluetooth at up to 2,000 samples per second per plate, Movetrics Studio CSV/C3D readers, CSV/C3D/OpenSim writers, Lab Streaming Layer, sync, a protocol simulator, and a read-only Movetrics Cloud API client. Clients in Python, TypeScript and MATLAB share one set of byte-level test vectors. Units: t s (FDT clock), fx fy fz N, mx my mz N·m, cop_x cop_y m (NaN below 50 N); gaps are reported, never filled.

Read AGENTS.md first: it maps user goals to SDK parts and lists the invariants and safety rules. Build against the simulator (`movetrics-fdt simulate --tcp 7800 --signal cmj`) before hardware. The clients send eight commands only; do not write raw bytes to the FDT.
